So much blood, arms are cut badly. I haven't shed a tear from pain in years but I'll have to reset that counter. Regretted not hiring a pro once it was too late. At least I'll have a few more ponies. Should make breaking my 295's in the rear loose a bit easier now, until my warranty goes and I get a blower. Night oppo'.

I could have told you that was going to be tough, I know EXACTLY how cramped that bay is. Should have nice gains though, especially with that massive stock pulley being removed.

It was crank and powersteering, so I hope it's worth sacrificing my skin. I'd rather pull my subarus engine and reinstall then repeat that again.

Subaru main crank pulley replacement is like a 20 minute job :)

Funny for me it took a day...
That's half the crank bolt, it snapped in half 3 in recessed into the crankshaft. But yes usually it doesn't take long.

My god that sounds awful

Interested to hear what you think once you get a chance to butt dyno it! Sorry about your arms lol

I really want to do the Turner Motorsport pulleys on my car however one of the previous owners installed a Bavarian Sound Werks subwoofer system, so no pullies :(

Which pullies did you go with? Mineral or Alpine white? Here's my M3.

Macht schnell, and it's alpine. It came with both the crank and power steering so that influenced my decision.

Have you done a cat delete yet? That will probably be my first performance mod.

Most likely will before the end of the year, I was hoping bpm could get their e30 tune out of 'beta' before I did it. Also do an air filter and cat back exhaust, you'll love the noise.

Best way to put it is it pulls like 1st gear in second. Powersteering is a tad bit harder, but I like that. Definitely worth butchering my arms, but I'd still hire someone to install it the second time around.

Awesome! Yeah, I'm happy wrenching on things generally but I don't have the patience for tight spaces. Speaking of - have you seen the engine bay of the F8X M? Pity the fool who has to work in there!
